Tree removal
Trees come down for a lot of reasons — disease, storm damage, a remodel, a new pool, a driveway that needs room, or just a tree that's too close to the house. Whatever the reason, we handle it from start to finish: drop, cut up, haul away, and clean up.
Our equipment lets us reach trees in tight spots that some crews can't get to, and we work carefully around structures, fences, sprinklers, and landscaping. Property owners shouldn't have to choose between getting a tree down and having to repair their yard afterward.
Common tree removal work
- Dead or dying trees
- Storm-damaged trees and hangers
- Oaks, pines, magnolias, and other Northeast Florida species
- Trees too close to homes, garages, pools, or septic systems
- Multiple tree removals for lot prep or new construction
Tree trimming & pruning
Florida storms don't care about trees you've been meaning to get to. Regular trimming is the cheapest insurance you can buy — it keeps limbs off your roof, reduces wind resistance during hurricane season, and keeps trees healthy.
We trim for clearance from buildings, for shape, for storm prep, and for the overall health of the tree. We don't top trees or do hack jobs that hurt long-term health.
Stump grinding
Removing the tree is one job. Getting rid of the stump is another. We grind stumps several inches below grade so you can re-sod, replant, or build over the spot. We can grind stumps from trees we remove or from old stumps that have been sitting for years.
Storm damage & emergency work
When a tree comes down on a fence, a roof, a driveway, or across a road, you need someone who can show up quickly with the right equipment. We handle storm cleanup and tree emergencies for Northeast Florida homeowners and property managers.
If you're calling for storm work, mention it when you reach out — we move emergency calls to the front of the schedule whenever we can.
Why hire Kristof Land for tree work
- We own our equipment. Skid steers, chainsaws, grinders, dump trucks. We're not renting and not waiting on anyone else.
- Owner on every job. The person who quotes the work is the person doing the work.
- Full insurance. Tree work is risky. Hiring an uninsured tree guy puts you on the hook if something goes wrong. We carry full coverage.
- Clean up included. We don't leave debris for you to deal with unless you ask us to.
